Sticky9 - Turn your instagram videos into postcards

This is my first news blog post and its all about an awesome collaboration between Zappar and Sticky9.
Sticky9 was founded in 2011 as "StickyGram" when their primary focus was all about producing Instagram magnets. Today they make Magnets, phone cases and iPad covers all from your favourite photos from Instagram.
So where does Zappar fit in to all this. Well Zappar have created a augmented reality app that can be used to recognise the world around us and make it come to life in ways may never have seen before.

The general idea was for them to team up to make something fresh and cool for the new generation of photographers and those of us who love to travel the globe.
But that's not all the you can send out a digital birthday card, a special invitation or a treasured memory you wish to keep forever.

So how does all this work

Step 1: Create an awesome video using the Instagram app.
Step 2: Head over to https://sticky9.com/video_postcards/new
Step 3: Connect your Instagram to the website and select the video you've created.
Step 4: Once that's all done follow the simple instructions and complete your order.
Step 5: Receive your order, in which you get 9 post cards 14x14cm finished in a high quality matte finish. Then you can send them to your friends and family.
Step 6: All they need to do is download the Zappar app (linked below) and they get an awesome video postcard via the crazy but genius tech that is Augmented reality.

Its really all very simple and a very modern and cool way to share your videos with the people you care about most.
